We are pleased to announce that the World Triathlon Championships will be held in Montreal on the weekend of June 24-25, 2023. This event is a unique opportunity for the city of Montreal to shine. With a worldwide television audience of 50 million viewers, close to 60,000 spectators present during the event and worldwild athletes coming in Montreal to gain some precious 2024 olympic games qualifying points, the 2023 edition of the Groupe Copley World Triathlon promises to be grandiose.

You will find in this section the 2022 map that was covering all the courses as well as the roads closing schedule. You can see that there are some areas highlighted on the map, those correspond to streets that are surrounded by the event. Therefore, if you live in those areas, please find more information below. 2023 information will be released soon.

Old-Montreal inhabitants, you will be in the front row to assist to that world class event. However, you usual parking slots will probably be removed. Therefore, we suggest you to visit our Parking tab to see where your slots will be relocated. If your weekend is free, you can join us by checking the Volunteering tab to help us organize this event.

Residents Zone 1

Lachine Canal inhabitants, take note that no streets will be closed in your area. However, the bike path along the canal, will be closed - more information to come. You won’t be able to walk on this path during this morning, but nothing stops you to come to encourage the athletes from the street or from your balconies!

Residents Zone 2

Saint Maurice, Saint Paul, Saint Henri and Longueuil streets inhabitants, you will be the most affected by this event because you are on the 1st course. Therefore, please take note of the closing schedule of those streets:

We recommend you visit the Parking tab in order to see where your parking slots will be relocated. Take note also that the parking prohibition will occur during the closing. However, you can come encourage the athletes from the streets or even from your windows!

Residents Zone 3

Saint Laurent boulevard, as well as Saint Jean Baptiste, Le Royer and Saint Paul Streets, the athletes will run in your area only one morning of the all-weekend event! Indeed, roads will be closed - more information to come. However, please note that the parking prohibition will occur from - more information to come. Please check the Parking tab in order to verify where your parking sectors have been relocated. However, you can come encourage the athletes from the streets or even from your windows!

Residents Zone 4

Montcalm and Saint Antoine St inhabitants, you will be in the front row to assist to this world class event! The athletes will run in your area - more information to come. Come encourage them from your homes! However, since your streets will be closed during the event, it will be impossible for you to park your vehicles. Therefore, I suggest you visit the Parking tab in order to visualize where your usual parking slots will be relocated. Take notes that the parking prohibition in your streets will occur from - more information to come.
