2024 World Triathlon Championship Series Montreal
After several years at the Grand Quai in Montreal's Old Port, the 2024 edition of the Groupe Copley World Triathlon is taking on another of the city's iconic venues, with Parc Jean-Drapeau as its new home. Along with Abu Dhabi, Yokohama, Cagliari, Hamburg and Malaga, the 2024 World Triathlon Championship Series Montreal is one of the six stages of the World Triathlon Championship Series. On September 14 and 15, it will welcome the world's best triathletes for sprint distance (Saturday, September 14) and mixed relay (Sunday, September 15) competitions. As these competitions take place shortly after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, they will be the perfect opportunity to celebrate our Olympians.
In the meantime, the event will also host a Panamerican Cup (Americas Cup) offering Canadian and Quebec elite and up-and-coming athletes the opportunity to shine on home soil and continue their journey to the top level.
In 2024, the Groupe Copley World Triathlon will feature only "Elite" events. Age Group athletes will be able to take part in various triathlon events the weekend before the 40th edition of the Esprit de Montréal Triathlon on September 7 and 8, 2024.
